Movie Review: World Invasion: Battle Los Angeles

For years, there are a lot of cases of UFO sightings around the world ,Buenos Aires, Seoul, France, Germany, China and including Malaysia..hehehe. In this film 2011, what were once just sightings will become a terrifying reality when Earth is attacked by unknown forces. As people everywhere watch the world's great cities fall, Los Angeles becomes the last stand for mankind in a battle no one expected.what are we aspect from this movie is. What will happen to the world? What are you doing if your town are attacked by the alien? How you feel after you watch this movie?

My friends and I went out to watch the movie at Dataran pahlawan, it take one hour from UNIKL MICET. Many people are curious about what is UFO and what happen to the Los Angeles. That why when we watching this movie, the seat are full...

The meteors suddenly come to the Earth! It are weird? I thought the flying UFOs come..but, the aliens then appeared  after meteors break ! . The aliens also attack the countries, like Japan, China, UK and others...  So, the humans need to save themselves and find the safe places from the aliens. The soldiers, Hawks, policemen and who involved in, that must protect the people with their life...  Some are very emotional when they are attacked, they feel useless, scare, angry, hate, or confuse when they are escaping...

The aliens are equipped with the mechanical bodies and guns, so it protected their organic body inside. They want to invade Earth and killed the humans. They are very intelligence? but, they don't have emotion when they want to kill and bomb on the soldiers and tanks. I think that the human also are the intelligence because they always keep to think about the decision and plan to choose their path... They always curious about the weakness of the aliens, and must be brave if they want to near the alien. This is a way to saving the Earth!

we feel that the movie give the experience of fighting the enemies in the war zone when you are civilian or solider... When you are in front of an alien, you will get a lesson that whenever you decide even though it is wrong, we must not regret it because there are a mistake no matter they can die or live to never forget who are with us(Hero say)hehehe..Because they want to protect the people than their own life! A lot of soldiers are killed when they are taking their risk!

we don't like the war film but, we feel amazed that the soilders are very brave and still not give up after they back home so safely. They want to continue to fight with the aliens because it is not end! They also must take their responsibility to protect their own Earth!

Jungle trekking

Jungle trekking is where we take our resources like tents, food and other articles and we trek (walk) through jungle. Topography of area depends what type of jungle we are walking in. There is lot of difference in having a trek in rain forest jungle as compared to walking in Himalayan jungle.
We also need a guide or good Map to have a trek in Jungle otherwise we may get lost.

Jungle trekking is one of my favorite sport where during walk through the jungle, lots of new experience i was got such as i can learn how to work in a group with different situation which in the jungle area. Besides that, i also can learn maybe little big about the plant that usually we can not get it in the city or village.
In MALAYSIA, lots of jungle that we can try for our jungle trekking location.

For the example, Malaysia has some spectacular protected areas including Taman Negara Malaysia's which is the largest and best known national park. Scientists believe that the rain forest of Taman Negara may be the oldest on Earth. Untouched by glaciers during recent ice ages, Taman Negara forests have remained largely the same for some 130 million years and for comparison, the rainforests of the Amazon as we would recognize them are probably less than ten million years old.

wah!!! our rain forest maybe become the oldest on earth.
Trekking along these jungles in Malaysia, we would encounter rugged hills carpeted with dense vegetation, gurgling rivers, perpendicular hilly slopes and of course muddy trails. As we know, jungle trekking can be classified as one of the adventure sport where everybody need to prepare their physical and mental before jump into this hobby.

Jungle Trekking For Kids and Newbies (Easy)

Take the kids out for a walk in forest habitat or enjoy a jungle waterfall or stream. Great places for picnic ideas and a good way to begin the rain forest experience.

Jungle Trekking For The Heart Rate (Moderate)

Be prepared to sweat and increase the intensity going uphill. These trails get deeper into the jungle in a search for tropical animals and special plants.

Jungle Trekking For Explorers (Tough)

Highland trekking in mountain habitats, jungle hikes up mountain slopes and other rugged terrain make for long days and exhausted limbs.

To those that not have experience in jungle trekking, what are you waiting for?
come on, join the jungle trekking club. For sure will get wonderful experience...zzzzz!!!

"The Grass is Always Greener On the Other Side of the Fence"

"The Grass is Always Greener On the Other Side of the Fence" means that the things other people have or their situations always look better than your own, even when they are not really so. For the example, do not compare our talents with our friends (The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence). We just do our best.

This idiom give us a lots of meaning from every side of our life. Every single words in that sentence have their own meaning where everyone need to understand that words clearly. This idiom teach us that we need to increase our self confident to make our life better than other people. In this world, we need to trust to our self in order to make sure we are be a grateful person.

The Pencil

Pencil is a writing implement or art medium usually constructed of a narrow, solid pigment core inside a protective casing. The case prevents the core from breaking, and also from marking the user’s hand during use. Pencils create marks via physical abrasion, leaving behind a trail of solid core material that adheres to a sheet of paper or other surface. They are noticeably distinct from pens, which dispense liquid or gel ink that stain the light color of the paper.
Most pencil cores are made of graphite mixed with a clay binder, leaving grey or black marks that can be easily erased.

Graphite pencils are used for both writing and drawing, and the result is durable, although writing can usually be removed with an eraser, it is resistant to moisture, most chemicals, ultraviolet radiation and natural ageing. Other types of pencil core are less widely used.

Charcoal pencils are mainly used by artists for drawing and sketching. Colored pencils are sometimes used by teachers or editors to correct submitted texts but are more usually regarded as art supplies, especially those with waxy core binders that tend to smear on paper instead of erasing.

Grease pencils have a softer crayon-like waxy core that can leave marks on smooth surfaces such as glass or porcelain.

Thin wooden cylinder is the most common type of pencil casing permanently bonded around the core. Similar permanent casings may be constructed of other materials such as plastic or paper. In order to use the pencil, the casing must be carved or peeled off to expose the working end of the core as a sharp point.

Mechanical pencils have more elaborate casings that support mobile pieces of pigment core, which can be extended or retracted through the casing tip as needed.

Students must vote during the 'Students' Election' because....

Because students need to choose their representative which is someone that they can trust. Student election is the process to select the leader among the students to take the responsibility to be a part
of students voice. This election also will trained and will give the experience to the student on how will the actual general election will undergo. Besides that, this election also will give the knowledge and experience on how to be a leader and maybe a great leader in the future.
Sometimes there are students who being very skeptical towards so called voting-in-university because they think the consequences would always be the same at the end of the day.Which means, this kind of activity more or less just only to replace or to find the new qualified candidate.
students should just vote anyone who might bring at least slight differences for them. Who knows, sooner or later, the progression may come out better in the leadership of that elected candidate. Besides, having that experiences by taking part in voting could realize students how important to take that opportunity.

GOOD LUCK TO THOSE RUN FOR THE ELECTION
CONGRATULATIONS TO THOSE WON...

hAVe A NicE Day!!!

A Positive Thing that I'm Going to Do During the Mid-Semester Break is ...

We come to the start of mid sem, which is a little unfortunate because I like breaks, but all the assignment work have to do during mid sem probably this is the best. I did rather little this break take home and prepare to Principle of Programming(c++) test, one application for summer research and do some lab report. part of another,  and accompanying writing for English summary. Other than that, most of my friends were planning going back to campus early from break and while many of them similarly had homework, we all spent time hanging out. Very tired mid sem… but we all still happy because we can see our family by own eyes….

butterfly wonders of the world

1.Death head moth

If being faced in detail. Certainly you could be spotted pattern as if such as skull above this butterfly body. This butterfly also able produce sound that shrill if this feel threatened.. It also has rich, defined wings and a fat body that is gorgeous, sometimes with a hint of blue on it. 2.Vampire moth

Scientific name to this moth is Calptra thalictri. From the appearance aspect, certainly nothing which attracts but this moth is actually bloodsucker. Oh no wonder it called butterfly vampire! Weird, I'd never heard of these. Watching them drill into that lady's finger by rocking their head is a little unsettling.

Top Weirdest Sea Creatures

Blobfish

This is world's most 'miserable looking' marine animal. The fish actually lives at depths of up to 800m. It is rarely seen by human’s maybe this fish can avoid from the catches by trawler fishermen…hahaha…. What's worse is that this animal is just as lazy as it looks and sounds...it barely expends any energy even eating. The most incredible is it lives at the same depths as other ocean organisms, such as crabs and lobsters and other edible sea creatures.

Viperfish

The viperfish uses this light organ to attract its prey . By flashing the light on and off, it can be used like a fishing lure to attract smaller fish. The unusually large teeth of the viperfish help it to grab hold of its prey at it hunts in the darkness.

Birth Order Trait

Psychologists claim that our birth order determines our character. Previous studies claim, among others, that:

The eldest child

more responsible, mature, often a perfectionist, a good leader, higher IQ, low self-esteem.

The middle child

(any child born in between the eldest and the youngest)

not an over achiever, creative, artistically inclined, often felt neglected, lack of direction.

The youngest child

often get away with anything, not independent, often not taken seriously.

Actually, the statements above is based on the personal opinion and depends on the environmental situation. Everybody have their own opinion based on their experience and knowledge.

For me, the statement above have their pro and contra because from what i was seen around me, sometimes the statement above have their logical but sometimes it can not be trust.Family is the main basement to create their child, how they teach their child, the way they shown their self in front of their child. All this will effect the growth of their child and also the attitude.

As a conclusion, the eldest, middle, and the youngest child is the same, the character of every person is depend on how they carry their self.

Great Leaders are not born, they are made.

Anyone Can Be a Leader?

Of couse…but is their all good to be leader.  It is my personal opinion that leaders are made, not born. But I also think that some people are born with more leader-like traits than others.

I give some example that people are born really born to be a leader.

Prince William

Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah

Prince William of England, Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei and Emperor Akihito of Japan are examples of leaders who are born and have the power to change the country. Regardless of their characteristics or personality, these people were born into positions of leadership. They are exposed to various leadership situations, causing them to be influential and in their own rights. I also think that all the leader that have born also
can be good leader to others.

Emperor Akihito

This is principle to be leadership. It call “The Eight Universal Laws of Leadership.”
They come directly research from William A. Cohen
  1. 1.      Maintain absolute integrity. Leadership is a trust. If others don’t trust you completely, they will not follow you in every instance. Instead, they will try to decide each situation on its own merits, whether to trust you or not. If the environment you are in is relatively calm, you may be able to lead without too much difficulty. But if your situation requires you to make real demands on others, at a time when you must really depend on them, they will hesitate to support you. Then the lack of complete trust will be apparent and may well cause you to fail.

  1. 2.      Know your stuff. If you are the leader, those that would follow you don’t care two straws about whether you are good at office politics or not. They want you to be competent and know what you are doing. That’s what counts for them. So, your office politicking may get you promoted, but it will not win the respect of those you want to follow you. Only what you know and what you can do will do that.

  1. 3.      Declare your expectations. You can’t get there until you know where there is. Decide on your “there” and then continually promote your goals, objectives, and vision.

  1. 4.      Show uncommon commitment. You can bet no one else is going to be committed to your goals if you aren’t.

  1. 5.      Expect positive results. Winners expect to win and losers expect to lose. Vincent Lombardi, one of the greatest football coaches of all time said, “We never lose, but sometimes the clock runs out on us.” You can expect positive results and still not get exactly what you want. But, research demonstrates that those who “think positive” achieve more wins than losses and overall better results than those that don’t.

  1. 6.      Take care of your people or customers. If you take care of them, they will take care of you. The reverse is also true.

  1. 7.      Put duty before self. As a leader, you have a duty to accomplish the mission you are assigned, and you have a duty to take care of those who follow you. Sometimes the mission must come first, sometimes your followers comes first. However, the interests of both must always come before the personal interests or well-being of the leader.

  1. 8.      Get out in front. This law includes setting the example, and being where the action is. Don’t sit in an air-conditioned office making decisions and call that leadership. Go out and talk to your people. See what’s going on and be seen. That’s leadership!

      Finally,
My opinion is the best leaders are the ones which start off doing what they enjoy. It may be through a lot of time for me a leader is made because a person becomes a leader through life and work experiences, through mentors and personal reflection. Leader takes time to develop which they just do the things they enjoy, and then over time are given more official positions, and work their way up until they are classed as a “leader”. Sometimes this happens without you ever realizing. No one is “born” a leader you have to work for it. It’s just that some people’s personalities are more suited to leadership roles but you also can be the leader.
